Un appartement près du Trocadéro.
Un appartement Haussmannien avec de beaux volumes et une vue privilégiée. Occupé par des bureaux pendant une vingtaine d’années, il nécessitait une restructuration partielle et surtout une adaptation à un mode de vie familial.
Situé dans un cadre prestigieux parisien, l’entrée décentrée et refermée sur elle-même ne permettait aucune lecture de cet environnement. Nous avons donc proposé à nos clients de l’ouvrir sur cette vue en remplaçant non seulement les portes moulurées donnant accès au salon par des portes en verre mais d’en élargir la perspective en créant de chaque côté des châssis fixes qui augmentaient l’angle de vision. Cette astuce permit de l’agrandir visuellement. Quant à la corniche éclairante réalisée en périphérie de ses murs, elle renforce sa présence au sein de l’appartement.
L’entrée du salon est matérialisée par deux poteaux éclairants qui ouvrent sur un espace résolument plus chaud avec des boiseries en duka qu’un éclairage frisant fait de spots vient éclairer alors qu’une rampe lumineuse de couleur souligne dans sa hauteur la bibliothèque réalisée en palissandre. Là encore, la transparence s’effectue par le biais de portes vitrées qui amènent à la salle manger où la simplicité a été recherchée tant son volume se suffit à elle-même. Seul l’habillage de l’ancienne cheminée en marbre crée un volume axé sur les suspensions qui semblent flotter dans l’air.
Le bois est aussi présent dans la cuisine dont les meubles sont réalisés en wenge, la table en padouk dont la teinte rouge tranche agréablement mais aussi les placards, certaines portes et sur les sols de tout l’appartement en parquet « pointe de Hongrie ». Chaque chambre et salle de bains ont été personnalisées. Quant au couloir qui les dessert, à l’origine linéaire et sombre, il respire rythmé par un faux-plafond architecturé en staff. L’ensemble d’un classicisme moderne s’est imposé naturellement.
